The Northern Lights appeared in the sky last night, and the Glasgow Times Camera Club sprung into action.
Dozens of photos captured the aurora borealis in and around the city on Monday, with an array of colours including purple, green and blue lighting up the night.
The Met Office Space Weather forecast previously told of a Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) arriving at Earth around 1300UTC on Saturday, August 10 leading to minor to moderate geomagnetic storms and the Northern Lights being visible across the UK over the weekend.
Here are some of the spectacular pictures of the Northern Lights in and near Glasgow.
