A TEENAGER has appeared in court today accused of a serious assault on a boy at the TRNSMT Festival.
Lewis Gilchrist, 18, allegedly assaulted the 16-year-old in Glasgow Green on July 13, 2024.
Court papers state that Gilchrist whose bail address is marked as Infantry Division at Catterick Garrison (British Army), North Yorkshire, acted with another person to commit the alleged offence.
It is claimed that Gilchrist - who is a private in the army - repeatedly punched and kicked the boy to the head and body.
The charge says that he then struck the alleged victim to the body and punched him on the head which caused him to fall to the ground.
