Massive queues appeared outside the new British Heart Foundation in Glasgow today.
Bargain hunters formed a large line outside the new charity shop at the Forge Retail Park this morning.
The Parkhead branch will be the third combined fashion and home store in Scotland, following on from the success of stores in Hamilton and Livingston.
Staff were shocked by the amount of customers who arrived at the grand opening in the East End with all ages and backgrounds attending.

Area manager James Park, 62, from Cardonald said: “Today has been much busier than anticipated, we thought we would have a small queue but it went outside and around the building.
“We are really excited and happy to be given this opportunity, we can’t wait to share it with the kind people of Glasgow.
“I had two strokes so the cause really means a lot to me personally, we hope to raise as much money to help people as we possibly can.
“All the money made from the shop will go to our Glasgow researchers and stay in Scotland.”

Denise McKinnon, 57, from the Gorbals said: “I wish we got here earlier, it is so busy. We got a Tiffany lamp and some great cushions which can be expensive but we got a good price.

James Cochrane, 71, from the East End: “This place is good, I shop in a lot of second hand places.
“It is a great idea and I have often thought there should be one here.
“A lot of people around here can’t afford to go elsewhere, so it is great.
“I am a bit disappointed there isn’t more kid stuff, I would have liked to pick up things for my four grandkids.
“They can’t help it though, they can only put out what they get so hopefully they get more stuff.”
