Police have swarmed Hamilton after a man was seen "drenched in blood" on Low Waters road.
Cops cars and ambulances have been spotted at the busy area after an incident kicked off this afternoon.
Eyewitnesses watched in horror after reporting seeing a man covered in blood who appeared to have injuries on his head and arm.
The road is now closed between Downie Street and Hall Street with a police cordon in place as investigations continue.

One person said: “It all happened very quickly, there was a guy drenched in blood after some sort of altercation I believe.
“Police have tapped off the area and won't let anyone near it. I saw the man being taken away in an ambulance.
"It looked like he was injured, especially his head and arm.
“The full thing is so scary, I don’t know what caused it but I hope that person is okay.”
Traffic Scotland said: “Police have advised Low Waters Road, Hamilton is CLOSED due to an ongoing police incident “The road is closed between Downie Street and Hall Street.”
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
Scottish Ambulance have been contacted for comment.
