A manhunt has been launched after two men acted in a 'threatening manner with weapons'.
The 'frightening' incident is reported to have taken place between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Saturday, August 24 on Greenlees Road in Cambuslang.
Police say that two men in a white Ford van acted in a 'threatening manner with weapons' towards another driver.
There were no reports of injuries however damage was caused to a vehicle.
Officers are appealing for further information as an investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident is ongoing.
Constable Alan Smith, Rutherglen Police Office, said: “This was a frightening incident for those involved and it’s vital we trace the people responsible.
“I’d urge anyone with information or anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything which may help our investigation, to come forward.
“Anyone with dashcam footage of the area is also asked to please review this and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
