A serial teen rapist has been jailed after carrying out a string of disturbing attacks on girls.
Sam Brown was found guilty of seven charges following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
While a teenager, he attacked four girls over the course of nine months and has now been given a 10-year extended sentence.
Brown, now 20, met his first victim on social media before violently and sexually assaulting her on March 10, 2022, during their first in-person meet up.
The following day, he attacked and raped the 16-year-old at an address in Edinburgh.

Brown met his second victim on social media before entering into a short relationship with her in June 2022.
He raped the 16-year-old at an address in Glasgow before sexually assaulting her in a wooded area.
The same victim was also repeatedly struck on the head during consensual intercourse with Brown.
Later that same month, on June 28, Brown sexually assaulted his third victim, a 14-year-old girl, after meeting up with her in Edinburgh city centre.
On December 17, Brown sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl in a field in the capital after meeting her on Snapchat.

Today at the High Court in Edinburgh, he was ordered to serve seven years in custody with a further three-year extension.
Non-harassment orders banning Brown from contacting or attempting to contact all four victims were granted indefinitely.
Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending, Katrina Parkes said: “Sam Brown is a dangerous individual who poses a danger to girls and young women.
“Despite his depraved actions inflicting unimaginable trauma, the victims showed incredible bravery giving evidence which has ensured he has now been convicted and held accountable.
“We would urge any victim of a similar crime not to suffer in silence but to report it.
“You will be listened to and supported as we seek to secure justice using all the tools available to us.”
