A golf club in Milngavie will benefit from revamped seating areas, more varied entertainment and later opening hours after successfully applying for changes to its license.
Clober Golf Club has received approval from East Dunbartonshire Licensing Board to expand its outdoor seating, smoking and drinking area.
The club was also granted a new terminal hour of 1am on Saturdays and 2am on Christmas and New Year morning in line with local policy.

Additionally, it can now offer a much wider range of events, as it is now able to host such entertainment as quiz nights, tasting events, dances, and more, all of which was also considered to be within policy.
Licensing standards officers most recently inspected the premises in October and found it to be compliant.
The health and social care partnership requested that consumption of alcohol be ceased after 10pm with an additional requirement for supervision to ensure any glasses are cleared away.
