PLANS have been submitted to open a new doughnut shop in the city's Southside.
An application from Planning By Design, on behalf of Ms Catherine White, has been submitted to Glasgow City Council to open the bakery at 7 Overdale Gardens in the Langside area.
The proposals state the doughnuts would be made on site in batches early in the morning before being sold throughout the day.

The shop would be open between 8am and 5pm, with no opening hours after 5pm as "the applicant has no wish to operate into the evening, nor partake in the evening/ night time economy".
It is expected the business would require the equivalent of four full time staff members.
The plans say the landlord is keen for Ms White to take over the unit, which is currently vacant, to ensure it is "brought back into use for a business".
