Cast members of an iconic TV show are stopping by at Silverburn this weekend.
Visitors to the Pollok shopping centre will have the chance to meet the heroes from BBC One’s Gladiators on Saturday, September 14.
There will an opportunity to capture photos and go head-to-head in the famous balancing challenge, the duel event.
Those who meet the one-metre height restriction will be invited to take to the inflatable podium to battle it out with the aim of defeating their opponent.
David Pierotti, general manager of Silverburn, said: “We’re thrilled to bring another fun and unique experience to our guests this weekend.
“Gladiators is a show that has been watched and loved by families for decades, so to have members of its cast at Silverburn sharing in the excitement ahead of the new series is a delight.”
The meet-and-greet sessions and inflatable battle ground will be open between 10am- 4pm on a first come first served basis and are free of charge.
Visitors are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
The cast of the new series is currently touring the UK with its immersive experience after the filming of the new series wrapped in Sheffield last month.
The highly anticipated smash hit show was hugely popular with viewers when it returned to screens earlier this year.
Series two is due to air in early 2025.
Dan Cavallo, marketing manager for the BBC, said: “We're so excited to be bringing the Gladiators to Silverburn in Glasgow.
"We know how popular the show has been in Scotland, and how important it is that we take this out into the nations too.
"We have one particularly excited Scottish Gladiator who is thrilled to be coming home to meet their fans."
