A MAN has been charged following a police incident in Glasgow's Southside last night.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Road following reports of a premises having been struck by a car at around 5.30pm on Thursday, September 12.
The road has now reopened after it was taped off from Calder Street to Allison Street.
Police have now revealed a 67-year-old male who was driving the car has been charged in connection with alleged road traffic offences.
Residents from several properties in the area were evacuated as a precaution.
In images captured by the Glasgow Times, services including police, fire, and paramedics – were spotted on the scene.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Victoria Road in Glasgow has fully reopened after a car struck a premises around 5.50pm on Thursday, September 12, 2024. There were no reports of injuries.
"Residents evacuated as a precaution have returned to their homes.
"The 67-year-old male driver of the car has been charged in connection with road traffic offences and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
