A MAN was taken to hospital after he was seriously assaulted in Hamilton.
The 38-year-old was assaulted by a man on Ann Street at around 9.10pm on Wednesday, September 11.
The attacker then made off in the direction of Burnbank Centre.

The victim was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
His condition is not known.
Police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Detective Constable Christine McLanachan said: "Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone that can help with our investigation to come forward.
"If you were in the Ann Street area on Wednesday evening and saw or heard anything suspicious, please contact us."
The suspect is described a wearing a light blue hooded top and was around 170cms tall with a slim build.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 3822 of September 11.
