A WOMAN has been left fighting for her life after she was hit by a car in Knightswood.
Emergency services raced to Duntreath Avenue yesterday (September 13) after the woman was hit at around 2pm just south of where the road crosses Great Western Road.
The 42-year-old woman was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where medical staff have described her injuries as "life threatening".

The driver of the car, a silver Ford Kuga, was not injured.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident is ongoing and police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

Sergeant Andrew Coutts said: "We believe there were a number of people around at the time of the crash and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who can assist with our investigation to get in touch.
"We are also asking people to check their private CCTV and dash-cam footage and contact us if they have anything that could help with our enquiries."
Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 1823 of Friday, September 13.
