Forensics have been pictured at the scene of an alleged attempted murder in Paisley.
999 crews were called to a flat on George Street in the town at around 11.55pm on Friday, September 13.
A 40-year-old man was found unresponsive and rushed to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Cops have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with the alleged incident, which they are treating as attempted murder.
Following this, forensic teams were spotted at the scene on Saturday afternoon.
Officers in white suits carried out investigations outside the flat, which was covered in crime scene tape.
They were taking photos while uniformed cops stood guard.
An investigation into the alleged incident is underway and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: "Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with any information which may assist with the investigation to get in touch.
"If you have doorbell cameras, private CCTV or a dashcam, please review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.
"We would also like to speak to those who assisted officers in locating the injured man. If you have not spoken to officers yet, please contact us."
