It is taps aff weather in Glasgow after the sun made a surprise visit in the city.
Sunbathers were quick to bask in the sunshine today as temperatures soared to 24 degrees.
It appears after a wet summer just finished up, this unpredicted summer's day has come as a delight to residents in the city.

Our photographer spotted pals taking advantage of the heat at the Botanic Gardens in the West End this afternoon.
Groups were seen with their tops off while others stretched out and relaxed in the park during lunchtime.

The good weather is set to stay with tomorrow predicted to see temperatures up to 19 degrees, and Friday enjoying 17 degrees across the city.
However at the weekend we are expected to welcome back cloudy days with temperatures reaching around 15 degrees.
