A WOMAN appeared in court today accused of killing a dogwalker by running him over.
Pamela Kennedy, 35, allegedly struck Martin Cawley, 64, in Glasgow's Wellhouse on February 6 2,023.
Court papers state Kennedy, of Millerston, North Lanarkshire, drove a Nissan Micra without due care or attention.
It is claimed that Kennedy failed to maintain proper observations of Mr Cawley on the road.
The charge says that Kennedy caused her vehicle to strike Mr Cawley and his dog.

Kennedy's vehicle is said to have been damaged and that Mr Cawley was so severely injured that he died.
It was reported that the dog was taken to a vet after the alleged collision and its condition was unknown.
The road was closed for around six hours as crash scene investigators carried out enquiries at the scene.
Kennedy pleaded not guilty to the single charge at Glasgow Sheriff Court.
A trial was fixed for November this year by Sheriff John McCormick.
