A Thai boxer TV star who broke his girlfriend's nose in a horrific hotel assault was jailed today for 18 months.
David Ferguson, 34, turned on his partner in Glasgow city centre on October 30, 2023.
Ferguson chased the terrified woman from the Citizen M hotel before he repeatedly punched her on the face.
She suffered a number of injuries including a missing tooth, swelling to her face as well as a broken nose.
Ferguson - nicknamed the Tattoo Assassin - became a TV sensation after he previously starred on Netflix's The Ultimate Beastmaster produced by Sylvester Stallone.
The extreme sports show pitted Ferguson and others up against The Beast - a huge structure filled with crazy strength, balance and climbing challenges.
Ferguson, of Alexandria, also appeared in ITV series SAS: Ultimate Hell Week in 2019.
Ferguson pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to assaulting the woman to her severe injury.
Sheriff Andrew McIntyre said: "This was a serious assault which was quite sickening to watch and I know you agree with that."
The sheriff also granted a 10-year non-harassment order which prohibits Ferguson from contacting the woman.
The court earlier heard that the pair had been seeing each other at the time.
They had checked into the Citizen M hotel and the day passed initially without incident.

But the upset and crying woman approached an employee around midnight stating: "Men treat me like s***."
The victim went outside for a cigarette but was tailed by Ferguson.
Prosecutor Jenny Reid said: "Ferguson chased her to the fire exit of the Maldron Hotel.
"He assaulted her by repeatedly punching her with a closed right fist multiple times to the face."
The woman attempted to create distance and push him away during the blows but was unsuccessful.
Witnesses contacted the police who then attended the scene.
It was noted that the woman had suffered "severe facial injuries" and Ferguson was also covered in blood.
Ferguson was arrested while his partner was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Miss Reid said: "She had a missing tooth, blood from her nose and mouth as well as swelling to her lips, nose and forehead.
"She was covered in her own blood and was very emotional and upset.
"The hospital confirmed that her nose was broken."
CCTV of the incident was played to the court at the sentencing.
Ferguson was noted to be hunched over in the dock with his hands on his head.
Katie Stewart, defending, later stated: "After viewing the CCTV, he described his behaviour as despicable and expressed shame and regret over his behaviour.
"He had a successful job at Faslane and a stable family life however things spiralled since the date of the offence."
