A 76-YEAR-OLD man is in hospital after a road crash involving a cyclist and a car in East Kilbride.
The 86-year-old woman who was driving the car was reported for road traffic offences.
The crash happened on Greenhills Road, close to its junction with Auldhouse Road, on the southern side of the town.

Shocked passers-by said the accident “looked terrible” and wished the cyclist well.
One woman, who did not wish to be named, said: “It was horrible to see the ambulance and police cars at the end of our street. It looked like a terrible crash, hope the man is okay.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3pm on Wednesday, September 25, police became aware of a road crash involving a cyclist and a car on Greenhills Road, East Kilbride.
“The male cyclist, aged 76 was taken to hospital for treatment and the 86-year-old female driver of the car was reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.”
