A MAN has been arrested following a dog attack in Clydebank.
A 65-year-old has been charged in connection with an incident that took place on Beeches Road last Thursday, September 19.
We previously reported that an 81-year-old and her dog were allegedly attacked by another dog and the woman was left bleeding on the street.
She suffered from an injury to her leg and her dog was taken to an animal hospital for puncture wounds to be treated.
An appeal was launched earlier in the week to find the owner of the attacking dog.
A report has now been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Following enquiries into a dog attack in Beeches Road, Clydebank on Thursday, September 19, officers have arrested and charged a 65-year-old man in connection with the incident.
"He has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal."
