A SEARCH is underway for a cyclist who left the scene after he was hit by a car.
Cops were called to Biggar Street, near the Forge Retail Park, at around 8pm yesterday following a report of a crash involving the cyclist and a car.
When police attended he had left the scene.

Officers said extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police via 101, quoting incident number 3433 of Thursday, September 26.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8pm on Thursday, 26 September 2024, we were made aware of a crash involving a male cyclist and a car in the Biggar Street area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended but the cyclist had left the scene. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him.
"Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3433 of Thursday, 26 September 2024."
