A GARAGE owner has declared his "surprise" at his business winning two motoring awards.
Paul Griffiths, founder of Elite Land Rover in Clydebank, was over the moon when he found out his team had won the two accolades.
The garage specialises in providing repairs and services for Land Rover and Jaguar vehicles.
Members of staff have received recognition from the Scottish Motor Trade Association, winning the organisation's Car Star Award as a result of their recent fundraising for St Margaret's Hospice after they completed the Tough Mudder event back in June.
Paul's team has also won Service Centre of the Year, awarded by Small and Medium Enterprise News, and he opened up on his delight at both achievements.
He said: "It was certainly a surprise when we all found out about it but we are incredibly proud of the accolades.
"The team works really hard to try and set a good standard in the industry.
"We want to provide the best customer service possible where someone comes in and is treated well from start to finish.
"It is about instilling trust and making sure they have a good experience."
Elite Land Rover has also been nominated for Garage of the Year, a UK-wide award organised by Garage Hive Ltd, with the ceremony taking place in Birmingham on Saturday, September 28.
They will be up against three other businesses from across Britain and Paul is excited at the opportunity.
Scotland," he continued.

"All the staff are buzzing at the recognition we have received so far and hopeful for more success."
