Headliners have been announced for a huge country music event coming to Glasgow.

The OVO Hydro will play part host to Country 2 Country (C2C) next year from March 14 to 16, 2025.

It is an annual festival celebrating the best in the genre and has been hosted in a European city every year since 2013.

For the 2025 event, Glasgow will share hosting duties with London and Belfast to welcome the headline acts.

Grammy award winner Lainey Wilson will perform, and multi-platinum artist Dierks Bentley will return to C2C for the first time since 2014.

Meanwhile, award-winning Cody Johnson will make his C2C debut.

Acts will rotate between Glasgow, London and Belfast each day so all attendees get to see their performances.

They are joined by fellow C2C debutantes Dylan Gossett, Tyler Hubbard, Chayce Beckham, Shaboozey, Tucker Wetmore and Niko Moon, as well as returning favourites Nate Smith, 49 Winchester and Avery Anna.

Since its first show headlined by Tim McGraw and Carrie Underwood in London, C2C has become a three-day multi-arena event with tens of thousands of fans attending each year.

Featuring performances from the world’s most established country stars, it also showcases emerging talent from Nashville, the UK and Europe.

Heading into its twelfth year, BBC Radio 2 continues as the broadcast partner for the event, while the Country Music Association (CMA) is a key festival partner.

CMA Vice President Milly Olykan said: “As Country Music continues to reach more fans around the world and achieve mainstream success in the U.K., we are more grateful than ever for the valuable role C2C has continued to play in developing audiences in the territory.

“The festival continues to be an unforgettable moment in the year for fans, as well as a key opportunity for artists to gain exposure in the U.K. market.

"We are incredibly proud of our continued partnership with C2C, and of the success to date of Country Music in the U.K.”

Tickets go on sale from Friday, October 4 at 10am.
