A huge American popstar has cancelled her Glasgow OVO Hydro show.
Janet Jackson was supposed to play at the popular West End venue on October 13, however, due to unforeseen scheduling difficulties, it has now been scrapped.
The Hydro have e-mailed ticket-holders this afternoon to inform them of the cancellation and to say that a refund will be issued.
The e-mail reads: "The event organiser has been in touch to let us know that due to unforeseen scheduling difficulties the show on October 13, 2024 has been cancelled.
"We’re issuing a refund for your booking - so you don't need to do a thing. You'll see a credit onto the method of payment you used within 15 days.
"If you sold your tickets through Ticketmaster and haven't already received payment, your sale will not go ahead - you will be refunded the cost of your original booking instead."
Janet's concert has also been removed from the OVO Hydro's website.
People who were due to attend the show were quick to take to X to share their anger and disappointment.
One person said: "Janet Jackson cancelling her Glasgow show just weeks after postponing it. Third time in a row she’s cancelled a show in Glasgow. I’m done."
Another person said: "Janet Jackson, very disappointed to see that’s the concert in Glasgow cancelled. This is the second time this has happened. Bought tickets within minutes of them going on sale. Feeling very let down."
A third person added: "Noooo Janet is cancelling her gig in Glasgow."
The OVO Hydro has been contacted for comment.
