A second man is due in court after a car was allegedly set on fire in Clydebank.

Emergency services responded to the Queen Mary Crescent area of the town at around 2.10am on Saturday, June 15 this year following reports that a white Audi A3 had been set on fire.

The blaze was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

No one was injured.

On September 29, police confirmed a 34-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.

Now, a second 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged.

He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court at a later date.
