A woman has been rushed to hospital following a ‘serious crash’ which closed a busy motorway.
Emergency services responded to the scene at junction 3A (Uddingston) on the M74 after the alarm was raised at around 3.05pm on Saturday, October 5.
The road was fully closed for around 20 minutes as 999 crews dealt with the incident.
Police say the crash involved a grey Ford Kuga.
A 22-year-old woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Officers investigating the incident are urging witnesses to come forward.

Police Sergeant Stewart Taylor, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “I would ask anyone who may have witnessed what happened, or who may have dashcam footage, to contact us as soon as possible.
“You may have captured something that can assist our enquiries. The road was fully closed for around twenty minutes.
“I want to thank members of the public for their patience while we investigated this serious crash.”
