JANEY Godley has praised the NHS and her “spectacular” carers as she shared an update on her condition from her hospice bed.
Godley is currently receiving end-of-life care after receiving the news that her cancer had spread, after being diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2021.
The Scottish comedian shared the “devastating news” in September saying her “chemo ran out of options” and that she couldn’t take it anymore.

Godley updated her fans in a video from the hospice where she thanked everybody as she confirmed she has had some “issues” with sickness.
She then went on to speak highly of the hospice carers and the NHS, despite them “being on their knees”.
She said: “The care here is absolutely spectacular, as you would imagine, as is the care in the NHS.
“I mean, how people manage to prop up that huge system and still work when a lot of them are on their knees.
“So, I can't thank everybody enough.”
She then went on to say that she has been learning a lot about new ice lolly flavours via her daughter Ashley Storrie.
“We've settled on Watermelon, Watermelon, homemade Ice lollies,” she said.
Adding: “Take that to your Michelin Star.”
Godley then ended the video addressing that it is “hard” to speak about death but she said these are conversations we “all have to have” at some point in our lives.
She said: “Thanks to everybody who is watching my journey and trying to deal with speaking about death and how that makes people feel.
“You got to know it is hard, but these are conversations we all have to have at some point, or not, or not, but I’m sending you all my love.”
Godley shot to viral fame with her dubbed comedy videos of Nicola Sturgeon's coronavirus news briefings during the pandemic.
In 2021 she revealed she had ovarian cancer, but in 2022 the comedian was given the all-clear after a scan showed “no evidence of disease”.
However, she later announced that another scan had shown signs of the disease in her abdomen.
Despite the news of her cancer return, she continued with her comedy tour in February and March 2023.
