ScotRail is asking passengers on the East Kilbride line to share their thoughts on recent improvement works.

The train operator wants feedback through an online survey running until Sunday, October 20.

The survey asks passengers for their opinions on how ScotRail managed its rail replacement service during Network Rail’s recent closures along the line.

This was part of the East Kilbride Enhancement Project.

ScotRail is particularly interested in how passengers found the replacement service, whether they used nearby rail services, and their views on seat availability during the works.

The feedback will help ScotRail plan alternative transport arrangements for future improvement works along the route.

Scott Prentice, strategy and planning director at ScotRail, said: "We’re keen to hear what the communities we serve along the East Kilbride line think about how ScotRail performed in providing a replacement service, and in keeping disruption to a minimum, during the recent East Kilbride Enhancement Project works.

"We understand that our customers would rather not have any disruption to their journey, however, it is important that when improvement works take place, we aim to provide a service that meets their needs.

"Every response we get will help us shape how we manage any future works along the route."
