A KNIFE-wielding teenager chased two terrified Swiss tourists into a pub two weeks after being released from custody.
Kyle Docherty, then 19, raced after the unnamed man and woman in Glasgow city centre on June 24, 2024.
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard intoxicated Docherty initially brandished the knife at them at around 6pm on West George Street.
Prosecutor Lauren Aitchison said: "He pursued them with the knife, attempting to strike them from a short distance.
"Docherty pursued them to the Merchant pub which was overseen by a witness who dialled 999 and provided a description."

Docherty fled the scene but was later traced by police near Glasgow Central train station where he was arrested.
He was searched and a red lockback Stanley knife was recovered from the front pocket of his blue hooded jumper.
The two victims - who were understood to be Swiss tourists - left the pub before the police had arrived.
It was later found that Docherty had been released early from young offenders institution HMP Polmont 13 days before the incident.
Docherty pleaded guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner as well as a separate charge of having a knife without reasonable excuse or lawful authority.
Sentence was deferred pending background reports until next month by Sheriff Owen Mullan who continued Docherty's remand in custody meantime.
