A "spectacular" new event venue has opened in Glasgow city centre.
Glasgow headquartered major event producer and deals company itison has unveiled its new event and creative space – the itison HUB - following a £750,000 refurbishment.
Located just off George Square, itison HUB comes complete with a 30m indoor running track, a giant video wall, a full service bar, FITISON (the in-house gym), lounge area, quiet spaces and games zone.
The space also has a full lighting and sound rig able to transform the space from a screening room into a nightclub.
The HUB was conceived by Oli Norman, CEO of itison and designed by award-winning interior design company Surface-ID with lighting design from Grant Anderson, best known for his work in theatre and major outdoor events.
itison’s flagship HQ located on the floor above was named Scotland’s office of the year in 2018 following a multi-million pound refurbishment and features a fully stocked bar, Pilates studio, giant hot air balloon and the infamous fireman’s pole.
itison said the addition of itison HUB "promises to take the space to the next level".
itison announced plans for the new venue earlier this Spring following news that Soho House had pulled its plans to open in Glasgow.
CEO of itison, Oli Norman said: “We’ve long wanted a space we can bring together the different businesses and local communities itison works with; itison HUB is a spectacular space that we can do just that in.
“We’ll be hosting a series of free networking and social events in the coming months and can’t wait to show off the space.”
