A man who was killed on the M74 in a motorcycle crash has been named by police.
James Martin died in a smash near Abington last month after a collision between a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a blue Ford Focus car.
Mr Martin was pronounced dead at the scene. The car driver was not injured.
The 45-year-old, from the Linwood area, is being remembered as “a proud motorcyclist who will be missed by everyone who knew him.”

His family has asked for privacy but issued the following statement: “We would like to thank Lanarkshire Road Policing and everyone who stopped to help and all other emergency services who attended.
“James was a proud motorcyclist and will be missed by everyone who knew him.”
The incident happened around 6.40pm near junction 13, northbound, and involved a black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a blue Ford Focus car.
Sergeant Andrew Coutts said: “Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of Mr Martin. His family has asked for their privacy to be respected at what is a very difficult time for them.”
