A homebuilder is giving away high-vis vests to children.
The initiative by Miller Homes is part of their Home Safe campaign.
The campaign, which celebrates its fifth anniversary this year, aims to improve the safety of children by providing high-visibility vests for the darker months.
To coincide with International Walk to School Month in October, the campaign focuses on making primary school children more visible as they walk, cycle or scoot to and from school.
The initiative has supported children across the West of Scotland for the last five years, donating 8,000 vests.
Louise Caldwell, Sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said: "Our Home Safe initiative is very important to us, as it helps ensure children in our communities are as visible as possible during their walk to and from school.
"As the nights grow darker, road safety becomes even more crucial, especially during October when children are encouraged to walk to school.
"We’re excited to see families across the West of Scotland take part this year and pick up their high-vis vests."
Families are now invited to visit Miller Homes’ sales centres at selected developments, open Thursday to Monday, 10.30am to 5.30pm.
High-vis vests are available to all children aged four to 12, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Sales centres across the West of Scotland include Constarry Gardens in Croy, Chapel Gardens in Dumbarton, Thornly Park in Paisley, Stoneyetts Village in Moodiesburn, Highstonehall Park in Hamilton and Jackton Gardens in East Kilbride.
