A fire broke out at a sports club prompting a 999 response.
Firefighters were called to Bearsden Snowsports Centre (BSC) on Stockiemuir Road shortly before 11pm on Sunday following reports that rubbish in a bin was on fire.
Crews extinguished the blaze and left after making sure the area was safe.
There are no reported injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 10.53pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024, to reports of rubbish on fire at a sports club on Stockiemuir Road, Bearsden, Glasgow.
“Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting a bin.
“There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe.”
It comes after we reported last week that BSC had officially fully reopened after a fire broke out at the premises in July 2023.
The building was 'badly damaged' after a bin on the upper floor caught fire and the blaze spread to the building.
The ski club had been back in action within a week however, the catering space where the fire took hold remained out of action until recently due to the damage it suffered.
