TWO young footballers are set to take part in a bungee jump to fundraise for their team to go abroad.
Cooper Grice and his friend Aaron Woods, who both play for Clydebank FC 2010's, will be taking part in a 150ft drop from a crane beside the Riverside Museum in Glasgow.
They are aiming to raise up to £5000 pounds to cover the costs of a club trip to Holland next Easter for a tournament.
Cheryl Grice, Cooper's mum, opened up on the fundraising plans.
She said: "We are trying to provide for all the kids to go free of charge.
"They are doing all sorts of different things to raise funds and the bungee jump is one of them.
"We have set up a GoFundMe and that is progressing well so far.
"Most of the kids who play in the team will be going to the tournament.
"The boys are both nervous and excited as they have not done anything like this before.
"They wanted to get out of their comfort zone and this will certainly be that."

Cheryl also acknowledged that the cost-of-living crisis means a trip like this is not always affordable for every family.
Therefore, Cooper and Aaron are keen to make sure no one misses out.
She continued: "We recognise times are tough for everyone and are keen to provide for a chance for all the kids in the team to have a good time.
"The boys have already raised enough to pay for two players to go and we hope to be able to cover at least 16.
"All of the parents in the team are buzzing about it.
"Some of the kids have been away with a football team before so there is a real excitement around the place."
The bungee jump takes place on Sunday, October 27.
