JANEY Godley has posted a hilarious picture from her hospice bed poking fun at Donald Trump as she says it's “the gift that keeps giving”.
Godley is currently receiving end-of-life care after receiving the news that her cancer had spread.
The Scottish comedian was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2021 and shared the “devastating news” in September that her “chemo ran out of options”.
Godley shot to viral fame with her dubbed comedy videos of Nicola Sturgeon’s coronavirus news briefings during the pandemic.
She also made headlines across the world in 2016 when she held up a sign stating “Trump is a c**t” outside Donald Trump's Turnberry Golf Resort prior to his election as the president of the United States.
Despite her health condition, Godley has managed to go viral on social media once again as she shared a picture of her holding a t-shirt which said: “Trump is still a c**t.”
Along with the picture, Godley can be seen cheekily laughing while holding the black t-shirt, as she said: “The gift that keeps giving!”
Fans of the comedian flocked to her comments to support and praise her humour with the post receiving more than 100,000 likes on Twitter/X alone in 24 hours.
One person said: “Never change Janey, you're a freaking rockstar.”
While another person commented: “He certainly is, and you are still brilliant!”
A third person said: “You’re a national treasure for that, Janey.”
Meanwhile, Two Doors Down star Elaine C Smith, who plays Christine in the BBC comedy series, visited the comedian and presented her with flowers and a candle.
Godley said the gesture was “lovely” and referred to Smith as the “queen of my comedy heart” in the social media post.
In 2021 Godley revealed she had ovarian cancer, but in 2022 she was given the all-clear after a scan showed “no evidence of disease”.
However, she later announced that another scan had shown signs of the disease in her abdomen.
Despite the news of her cancer return, she continued with her comedy tour in the first few months of 2023.
