Plans have been submitted to turn an empty builders' yard in Clydebank into a car sales dealership.
The plot on 195 Dumbarton Road could be turned into a car sales store following plans submitted to West Dunbartonshire Council.
It is believed the address currently belongs to Clydebank Car Sales Ltd who currently have a used car dealership on Glasgow Road.
Plans for the 2010 square metre space, submitted in September, seek approval to change the use of the site from an empty yard into the dealership.
The property currently sits between a Clydebank Private Hire and Dalmuir Tyre Services.
The existing site which contains an entrance from Dumbarton Road and buildings could remain as it is currently and be repurposed.
A date for a decision on this application is yet to be set.
