A man has gone viral after his video game project featuring the streets of Paisley was shared on social media.
The work of a talented graphic designer, based in the town and known professionally as Bovine, was posted by his partner on TikTok.
The extensive clip, which has attracted nearly 340,000 views, has received an outpouring of appreciation from those excited to see Paisley showcased in this way.
Set in 2008, among its sights are features on Neilston Road where Bovine grew up, including Tannahills, Alan’s barbers and takeaway Crystal Garden.

Sharing the video, Linzi Clark said: “My boyfriend is working on a 3D project of our hometown of Paisley and it’s insane.”
The project, which has drawn comparisons to video game Grand Theft Auto, was all created on computer graphics software tool Blender.
The music featured in the clip was also created by Bovine.
More than 1,000 comments have also been left on the video by those impressed with the creation.
One TikTok user said: “I would play it 100%.”
Another added: “Paisley game before GTA 6 is crazy.”
Third said: “A 3D render of Neilston Rd was not what I was expecting when I went onto TikTok today.”
While further person commented: “This is actually incredible! Get him to start a Gofundme and we would all get the ball rolling for an actual game of some kind, I’m sure people would be up for it.”
Thanking people for their support, Linzi said: “Just want to say thank you so much for all the love on the video that I shared.
“He’s buzzing with how well it’s done and how into the idea everyone is.
“It’s so good to see people are invested.”
Following the success of the video, the designer has now created his own account on the platform to showcase his videos at @thebovinething.
Later replying on social media to questions about the project, Bovine said: “Probably started the unreal sessions about three/four months ago but there are a lot of assets I’ve modelled and textured over a five year period.”
