West Dunbartonshire Council has submitted plans to build a block of residential flats in Bonhill.
Plans which have been submitted by the local authority would see six flats built in the residential area of O'hare.
The application is part of the Bonhill Gap Sites Strategy which is set to revitalise vacant and derelict land which has been left following the demolition of previous developments.
The project contains two other sites in Bonhill on Campbell Street and Braehead.
This land was previously a 14-flat block which was demolished sometime after 2010.
Designs on the council's planning page reveal the flats would be spread over two levels with three homes on the ground floor and three on the upper floor.
The building would have private entrances to each property, the ground floor to the east and the first floor entrances to the west with private staircases.
Each home would have an open-plan living space, one double-bed bedroom, one bathroom and a kitchen with a dining area.
A common garden area will be provided at the entrance to the first-floor flats and the ground-floor properties will have their own private gardens.
A date for a decision on this application is yet to be set.
