Glasgow's Citizens Theatre has led tributes to "brilliantly talented" Maryhill-born actress Myra McFadyen after her death.
While better known for her theatre work she enjoyed roles in blockbuster movies including Maid of Honour and Mamma Mia! alongside Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth.
She studied at Glasgow's RSAMD (now the Conservatoire) and mime theatre in Paris and later took a job at the National Theatre in London.
She landed the role in Mamma Mia! after being part of the West End cast for two years and more recently acted in repeated appearances of A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic.
The Citizens Theatre posted on X: "We are sad to hear of the passing of the brilliantly talented Myra McFadyen.
"Known to Citz audiences for her roles in many productions including The Choir, Hayfever and Glasgow Girls, she will be remembered for her captivating performances across stage, tv and film."

Dominic Hill, artistic director at the Citz added: "She was a legend in Scottish theatre - a terrific actress with a gorgeous voice.
"As well as productions at the Citz, I’ll always remember her extraordinary performance as Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream in London - funny, mischievous, and heartbreaking”.
She also appeared regularly in Christmas shows at The Tron theatre and was a member of Wildcat Theatre Productions.
