A person has died at a train station sparking a police investigation.
Emergency services rushed to Hamilton Central yesterday afternoon after an incident happened on platform two.
Paramedics responded to reports of a “medical emergency” but the casualty was pronounced dead at the scene.

It is unknown how they died at this time but a probe has been launched by detectives into the incident.
We reported yesterday how services towards Motherwell, Cumbernauld and Larkhall were impacted for hours.
British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Hamilton Central railway station at 4.28pm on Monday, October 22 to reports of a medical emergency.
“Paramedics also attended, however sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances leading up to their death.”
