A Glasgow hairdresser has become "one of few worldwide" to launch a collaboration with legendary designer Tom Ford.
Steven Doran Hair has signed a deal to sell the American fashion designer's fragrance collection in his city centre salon.
The business said the partnership would bring "an elevated level of luxury and sophistication" to the client experience.
Doran opened his first salon in 2022 after ten years with Vidal Sassoon culminating in a top role as creative director.
He said the closure of the world-famous brand in Princes Square was the push he needed to run his own business and now hopes to expand across the UK and internationally.
Born in Austin, Texas, Tom Ford is credited with reviving the fashion house Gucci during his tenure as creative director (1994–2004). The 63-year-old designer started an eponymous line in 2005.
The house had been almost bankrupt when Ford joined it, but by 1999 it was a public company worth about $4.3 billion.
After leaving the brand in 2004, he founded the fashion house Tom Ford the following year offering menswear, eyewear and beauty products.
His fragrances are beloved by celebrities including Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, and Drake. Best sellers include; Black Orchid and Ombré Leather.
