A MAN has been rushed to hospital following a serious assault in Glasgow.
The attack happened on a foothpath crossing over the Clydeside Expressway at around 5.30pm on Friday.
The 22-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not known.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
Detective Constable Fiona MacKenzie said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to come forward.
"Anyone with information that could assist us is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 4457 of October 25.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
The suspect is described as being around 5ft 9in tall and around 30 years old with a medium build.
He was wearing dark clothing and had a dark coloured bike.
