A housing developer has announced plans to build new homes in Glasgow.
Cruden, one of Scotland's largest independently-owned housebuilders, is set to deliver the new properties in the city.
Construction will soon begin on the fourth and final phase of the mixed-tenure housing development at Toryglen which will comprise 114 new homes.
This includes 58 affordable homes for the Wheatley Group, 10 of which will be mid-market rental homes, and 48 will be social rental homes, six of which will be fully wheelchair accessible.
Work will also begin on 56 new homes for private sale at the final phase of Cruden’s award-winning King’s View development in Toryglen.
These will be two-and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes, each with private gardens.
Kevin Reid, executive chairman of Cruden, said: "Our continued work with affordable housing providers such as Wheatley Group and SBHA is vital in addressing Scotland’s ongoing housing crisis, ensuring that everyone has access to high-quality, affordable homes within their community.
"This announcement also marks a significant milestone as we commence construction of the final phase of our highly successful King’s View development for private sale, which has seen outstanding levels of demand."
