A popular drive-in film event is set to return to Loch Lomond Shores in December.

Itison's Drive-In Movies Christmas will take over the location for two weekends this year, starting on December 13 and running until Christmas Eve.

Film fans will be able to enjoy festive favourites from the comfort of their own car.

There are 11 Christmas classics to choose from including the first ever screening of Gremlins at the drive-in.

Other movies include Elf, Home Alone 1 and 2, The Polar Express, Love Actually, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Holiday and Arthur Christmas.

"The way the dates have fallen this year means we can run over two weekends and we’re delighted that more people will be able to come experience the magic of Drive In Christmas.

"Tickets go fast so set a reminder to get yours when they’re released.”

Tickets will go on sale on November 6 at 7.30am, and will be available on www.itison.com.
