The council is seeking approval to sell a piece of land to become an electric vehicle charging station.
A West Dunbartonshire Council committee will decide next week whether to approve plans to sell a piece of land by the A82 for it to become a charging hub.
Osprey Charging Network Ltd has offered to purchase the piece of land for £150,000.
The vacant area currently lies off Kilbowie Road on the south-eastern boundary with Great Western Road (A82).
The council had previously investigated marketing the land but due to poor ground conditions, it was found only surface-level use of the land could be made as proposed with the charging hub.
If the committee agrees to the purchase it is hoped it could provide improved job opportunities and contribute to the local economy.
