An application for 14 people to stay at a Glasgow flat was rejected by the council.
The landlord of 619 Shields Road in Pollokshields was asking for a house of multiple occupancy licence for the two-storey property.
According to the plan, there would have been four bedrooms on the lower ground, housing six people and another four on the upper level with space for eight people.

Previously, the applicant bid to move 17 people into the building but this was later withdrawn and replaced by the current application.
Glasgow City Council planning officials knocked back the documents, stating that it goes against the development plan for the area and several planning policies.
There were also 34 objections to the proposal lodged by local residents.
