A vicious dog has been put down after 'attacking' a five-year-old in Paisley.
Police received a report that the youngster had allegedly been attacked by the horror hound in Greenbank Drive on Sunday, November 3.
Officers were alerted to the incident shortly after 8pm.
The child was then rushed to hospital, while the dog was seized.
Following that, a 41-year-old man has been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged offences under the Dangerous Dog Act.
Meanwhile, the animal was put down.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 8.05pm on Sunday, November 3, 2024, police received a report a five-year-old child had been attacked by a dog in Greenbank Drive, Paisley.
“The child was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the dog was seized.
“A 41-year-old man has been charged and reported to the Procurator Fiscal for offences under the Dangerous Dog Act.
“The dog has been destroyed.”
