Traffic restrictions are to be in force on a street for 18 months for safety reasons while works are carried out.
From Friday, November 15, a one way system will be in operation on Clifton Road in Giffnock.
As a result traffic will only be permitted to travel in a north-easterly direction between the extended north-eastern kerb line of Orchard Grove and the extended south-western kerb line of Wellfield Avenue.
No waiting will also be permitted at any time from the extended north-eastern kerb line of Orchard Grove north eastwards to the extended north-eastern kerbline of Wellfield Avenue or thereby.
This applies to the north-west side of the road online.
The restrictions have been put in place due to the works taking place on or near the road and “the likelihood of danger to the public which is not attributable to such works”.
The restrictions will apply to all vehicles.
