A graduate has returned home to the city to join a housebuilding firm's commercial team.
Megan Scott, originally from Bishopbriggs, graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2022.
She moved to the Midlands to join Persimmon’s highly regarded graduate scheme.
With the company’s support, Megan has now returned to West Scotland to focus on buying and quantity surveying in the commercial department.
She said: "It’s been a great opportunity to come back to the West of Scotland and be part of such an important industry in the area I know so well.
"Persimmon has been supportive throughout my journey, and I’m eager to continue learning and contributing to the exciting projects here."
Her interest in the housebuilding industry started during her time at university.
After gaining experience in various departments in the Midlands, she is excited to bring her skills back to her home region.
Her work in the commercial team will support Persimmon’s developments across the West of Scotland, where the company is actively building new communities.
Gary Murdoch, Persimmon West Scotland's commercial director, said: "We are delighted to welcome Megan to Persimmon West Scotland where she has made a significant contribution already.
"Megan’s story is a testament to the strength of our graduate program, which not only offers varied experience across different areas of the business but also helps graduates find opportunities to grow and succeed in the locations that matter most to them."
