A PERSON has been taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash this morning. 

Emergency services were called to Anniesland Cross this morning at around 7.20am following a report of a collision. 

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) sent two appliances to the scene while the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) sent two ambulances.

The SAS confirmed one person was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Their condition is not known. 

An SFRS spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 7.17am on Tuesday, November 12 to reports of a collision involving two vehicles at Anniesland Cross, Glasgow.

"Operations Control mobilised two fire appliances and firefighters assisted emergency service partners at a collision which involved three vehicles.

"Four casualties were in the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service who transported two of the casualties to hospital.

"Crews have now left the scene."

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We received a call at 7.25am to attend a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Great Western Road, Anniesland, Glasgow.

"Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene and one patient was transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital."

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
