A dance school has been celebrating recent success with pupils gaining places with the Scottish Ballet and Glasgow pantos.
Claire Burns School of Dance, based on Rock Bowling Club in Dumbarton, has been celebrating as several pupils have landed roles in big destinations.
One pupil, Charlotte Scouller, will be performing on Glasgow's Pavilion stage in this year's festive production of Beauty and the Beastie.
Claire Burns, owner of the school says she couldn't be more prouder of their success this year having had two pupils join the SEC Wizard of Oz pantomime and a further two join Scottish Ballet junior associates.
She said: "I have a very close dance school where everyone gets on, friendships are forever and if kids are struggling at school we talk about it.
"Everyone gets involved so all kids know dance class is their safe place.
"My thoughts on dance have very much changed. The kids are always told if they don’t quite manage a routine or step this week there’s always next week.
"Keeping everything relaxed has shown that you can still get results which has shown with two pupils successful in gaining places at Scottish Ballet junior associates, two girls gaining places in panto at SEC and another successful in gaining a place at the panto in the Pavilion."
The school has also gained a place in Go Dance which is a dance festival celebrating all genres in Glasgow's Theatre Royal in January.
Claire added: "All my kids work extremely hard all of the time and deserve every bit of success that comes their way.
"In between all of this, we attend around six competitions a year. I’ve changed over from solos to group competitions which means we can work as a team keeping competing healthy. "
