New measures are being brought into address “regular inconsiderate and dangerous parking” on a busy stretch.
A parking prohibition is anticipated to be in operation from today (Friday, November 15) on Eastwoodmains Road in Giffnock for 25 metres leading up to its junction with Greenhill Avenue and for ten metres beyond this point.
The double yellow lines will also be in place for ten metres into Greenhill Avenue on either side of the street.
The traffic order, which is stated to have a maximum duration of 18 months, has been authorised “in the interest of safety” and will apply to all vehicles.
